Our company started in 1959 by hauling exempt commodities within the state of Oklahoma through intrastate commerce. Hauling only exempt commodities left little room for expansion, so we began our quest to integrate nationwide interstate trucking in 1972. We sought out the opportunity to grow and become more efficient so our branching into interstate commerce was the starting point of what is now the Coldiron Companies team, which provides transport solutions throughout North America and into Canada. We opened our first satellite driveaway office in Dallas, Texas in 1993. We quickly grew to support a second driveaway office being opened and now we have 8 regional offices that stretch coast to coast, have served tens of thousands of clients and have continued to be committed to expanding our services into being one team with many efficient solutions
Asset Recovery Start Up
Our customers needed additional consistent recovery support to put out their asset management fires, so we seized another opportunity to provide equipment and commercial vehicle asset recovery. Recoveries often need a place to be stored in a safe haven, so we began secure storage solutions for our financial institution customers.
Our official asset management division began in 2000 with a full array of field services. To date, we are the only nationwide company that provides licensed CDL drivers to recover & transport commercial vehicles legally in the United States.
Coldiron Companies provides a complete transport solution to asset managers by moving trucks, trailers and heavy equipment in combinations called singles, deck sets or as hauled moves.
Currently, technological advancements are driving our team towards more growth. We want the industry to grow stronger with its use of our designed efficiencies that will make transports safer, more timely and cost effective. The value we provide through strategic positioning of our drivers being capable of moving 1,2, 3 or 4 trucks at a time, is one that does so by aiding drivers with patented boom tools they need on the open road to keep rolling.
The management team of Coldiron Companies anticipates a future complete with expansion of our driver pool and the continued production of more proprietary driver tools. (i.e. FFB 123 Forward Facing Boom and the 123 Boom Trailer).
We see driver shortages nationally within all industries and the need to connect more shippers with more opportunities to get their trucks moved timely.
