Coldiron Companies is a family-owned transportation business with roots that go back to 1959. What started as a local hauling operation in Oklahoma has grown into a nationwide truck driveaway and asset recovery company that dealers, fleet managers, manufacturers, and lenders trust to move their equipment safely and on time.

Our History

We have been in transportation for more than six decades, and we built our reputation one mile at a time. We grew from local freight into interstate transport, and in 1995 we established the dedicated truck driveaway operation that carries the Coldiron name today. That name has come to stand for one thing in this industry: the job done right, trip after trip.

Three generations of Coldirons have worked in this business. Our founder, Phil Coldiron, built it from the ground up. His son, Clay Coldiron, leads the company today as CEO, and a third generation of the family is now at work carrying it forward.

Today we move trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment across the 48 states and Canada, driven over the road by a veteran fleet of CDL contractors. We also provide CDL-licensed asset recovery nationwide, with a condition report and photography on every job. Behind all of it is an experienced dispatch team that has spent years solving transport problems for our customers.
